The main uses are for emptying the excess LN2 from charged CryoShippers as well as emptying freezers quickly for maintenance or transport. It is a simple device that utilizes pressurized nitrogen gas to essentially siphon LN2 from one vessel to another. It is basically a venturi pump. It will require either the gas use valve on an LN2 supply cylinder or compressed dry nitrogen (22 – 50 psi, 1.5 – 3.4 bar). Compressed air will not work due to moisture and will result in an ice blockage.
